This collection is long overdue. The Goos' other attempt at a greatest hits album, 2001's What I Learned About Ego, Opinion, Art and Commerce, eschewed the band's biggest hits in favor of remixes and remastered cuts, ignoring many of the Top 10 fruits of Johnny Rzeznik's blond ambition. This collection finds the pouty singer ruminating about the illusion of commitment on "Here Is Gone," reworking the band's biggest hit, "Name," and pounding his head in frustration on "Feel the Silence." This is power pop at its finest.
