Following 2011's self-titled singles collection, New York's Holy Ghost! want to show us that there's life after indie dance. Fluffing up their synths, beefing up their melodies and showing off the breadth of their record collections, they pay tribute to Fleetwood Mac ("I Wanna Be Your Hand") and Hall & Oates ("It Must Be The Weather"), tackle winsome synth pop ("Okay," "In The Red") and get misty-eyed about the glory days of New York club culture ("Bridge and Tunnel"). But they're at their best when they stick to their original script, as on the bouncy "Dumb Disco Ideas." K.I.S.S., indeed.
