L.A. musician Nick Waterhouse hearkens to a time when rock 'n' roll and rhythm 'n' blues were synonymous. The best thing about Time's All Gone is its fidelity to that era, and how his music sounds like a ghost from the old cop show "Peter Gunn" wafting through the speakers. The songs aren't bad - some will recognize "Say You Wanna Go" from the Acura TV ad, and "Raina" and "Don't You Forget It" also satisfy. But Waterhouse strains his thin voice to its limits, and his backing singers the Naturelles are only slightly better. Their punkish delivery is fun, but a little grating, too.
