No Good in Goodbye
Not unlike Maroon 5 and Train, The Script maintain camp at the border of pop and rock. Largely recorded in a mobile studio, while the act was still touring in support of their last full-length, #3, No Sound Without Silence finds them infusing their catchy pop-rock fusion with a larger-than-life feel. Clearly, the unique buzz that musicians generally receive when hitting the concert circuit inspired them to pen an abundance of rousing anthems. These include "The Energy Never Dies" and "Superheroes," as well as two more, "Hail Rain or Sunshine" and "Paint the Town Green," informed by Irish folk.
